Severe whether in East Central Alabama had been forecast all weekend long. On the afternoon of Sunday, March 3, 2019 an F4 tornado devastated the town of Beauregard leaving at least 23 dead.

Like every week, Jeff Drury and David Kees, pastor of Smith's Station Baptist Church had been working out at the local gym. Now it was time for David to organize disaster support at his church and for Jeff to take his chainsaw to a 3-mile stretch of road blocked by fallen trees.
