Bio:
Dr. Monica O’Rourke is a kinesiologist and health education professional. Her degrees include a PhD in Health and Human Performance, M.S in education and B.S in kinesiology. She is on the Board of Directors for Christian Society for Kinesiology, Leisure and Sport Studies (CSKLS), a national speaker on health-fitness research and motivational speaker sharing her testimony to empower change.
Monica has over 25 years’ experience in health, fitness, and sport industry including Director for the Center for Maximizing Wellness, Director of physical education k-12, and works with professional motocross and action sports athletes. She is currently a Professor of Kinesiology in the College of Health Science at California Baptist University.
She is passionate about using science of the human body to share faith and fitness and has a deep passion for exercise and sport psychology/motivation. She has competed in the Pro Watercross racing series earning a national championship. Her race number is 516 for Matthew 5:16.
